Equine Veterinary Care
Veterinary Northwest provides mobile equine veterinary services for horse owners in the Pacific Northwest region. As a mobile equine veterinarian, I specialize in providing on-site medical care for horses. During each farm visit or appointment the doctor will perform a physical examination of the horse, checking for any signs of illness or injury.
Equine services include routine physical exams, preventative care, emergency care, and reproductive services.
Services include vaccinations, dental care, and parasite control to ensure maintenance of the horse's overall health. We also provide care for horses with chronic conditions, such as lameness, weight loss, respiratory problems.
In the event of an emergency, we hope to be available to provide prompt medical attention to the sick or injured horse. This may involve treating wounds or managing colic and laminitis. Reproductive services such as artificial insemination and pregnancy diagnosis, pre-purchase exams are performed.
Coggins/EIA testing and Health certificates and paperwork for interstate and international travel can be provided for travel. We are also available for equine consultation services, offering advice on nutrition, exercise, and general care for horses.
By operating from a mobile unit, we are able to bring medical care directly to your horse, making it easier and convenient to receive care. Haul-in services are available on occasion, please contact us for scheduling.
